Hi ,

I Don't mean to butt in, but I had the very same problem. I started

on 1 grain of Armour--did great, but then I became hypo again.

This kept happening over time after small increases. I'm now up to

3 1/4 grains. I think you need to just keep increasing gradually

until your symptoms disappear. Have you read Dr. Derry's stuff on

Shomon's website? I bet Janie has his interview in the files

section at the group site. He firmly believes that people don't do

well on anything less then 3 grains.

Good luck.

Hi . You might find it insightful to know that so far, I know

of NO ONE who is optimally treated with true hypo on only 1 1/4

grains. Even in the POLLS section, the majority of folks who feel

they are on an optimal dose fall between 2 and 4 grains. You are

simply underdosed....still.

Thanks Janie! Very good to know :). Should I continue to up my doses

by 1/4 grains, or should I jump up to 1 1/2 grains (1/2 grain

increments)? Thanks kindly!!!

, for me, I was going up 1/4 grain at a time because each

increase caused an increase in my palps due to the effect of the T3

on my MVP, so I was being very careful. But there are folks here who

do great on bigger increases, and you may be like them. If I didn't

have the palps, I would have increased by 1/2 grains, for sure, if

not slightly more, when I was that low!!
