Do you get heating assistance?

http://www.wisconsinpublicservice.com/service/assistance_wi.aspx

http://homeenergyplus.wi.gov/category.asp?linkcatid=239 & linkid=118 (has help in crisis)

For energy assistance call 1-800-HEATWIS

or visit www.homeenergyplus.wi.gov

You probably have all that information already but I really worry about you. Can Rob borrow a chainsaw from your neighbor? Isn't her name ? What about calling on Mindy for some help? Call the Salvation Army in Iron Mountain to see if they have any ideas. Call Catholic Charities in Iron Mountain, too. I'm sure your neighbor would be glad to help with the chainsaw if they have one. Oh, wait, you have wood because you just bought that 8 cords. So Rob just needs to be able to cut it into pieces that will fit in your wood boiler? The heating assistance may also help with the gas. I used to get heating assistance and they gave me firewood and propane. The heating assistance is a federally funded program so it should be the same from state to state.

And you should check with the tax assessors office because often a state will give a reduced tax bill for disabled.

As far as your meds go aren't you on Medicaid? I don't know much about Medicaid. Do they make you pay for your meds? Or is it just that you can't get to town for some reason to get them?

Hang in there!

Hugs))))
