Guest guest
My doc put me on Ramipril, an ACE inhibitor. She warned me that a small percentage of people develop a cough because of it. Well I appear to be in that small group. It's a dry cough like something is stuck in my throat. It wakes me at night and during the day what works best to relieve it is gum! Sugar free of course! A drink of water helps but gum really does the trick. Yes I am going to ask for another type of med next time I see her, she said there was something else I could try. I stopped the pills yest. to see if the cough went away and today I have not coughed at all. Has anyone else had this happen to them?
