Guest guest
Hi folks Just a short message to share our news with you. ,s doctor yesterday decided that at the moment he was unwilling to run any more tests on , he feels that at the moment she would not be able to ahndle another negative result. On a cheerier note, he is backing us 100% with s claim for DLA. He is writing to her Consultant in Aberdeen to ask what he is playing at. He agrees that her condition affects every part of her life and that recognition of this is needed now before she goes to college or university, then the help and support she needs will be there for as soon as she needs it. Not too bad eh? has had a good night, still tired and weak, but no hives, slight swelling on eyes and lips and palms of her hands. Not too bad either. We are in better spirits today. My new job is going well, the agency said they had a good report on the two dsays I worked this wek and then they said that I could be in this placement for months and may be offered the post of sales co-ordinator when the position is redefined! yahoo! Now I need to get the care network running better. We have a circle of people for the school to call if is bad. I am only to be called as a last resort. Sounds bad I know, but we are broke and need the money badly. Still I feel bad, I am her main care provider and the person she looks for when she is ill. Caught between the devil and the deep blue sea. Any advice on handling the guilt would be appreciated.
