Guest guest
Hi ... sorry to hear about all the pain you're in. You're right about the arthritis pain, exercise does help it. But, you might not have pain from arthritis but you're myositis. I was out of my Celebrex for about a week and I'm telling you I hurt from head to toe. Last night it finally was approved and I picked it up. Hope you start to feel better real soon. Take care, Vicki
Guest guest
Good Morning, Vicki, I am glad your tests are over with for now. How are you feeling? - I, too, am almighty curious about your new rheumy's appointment and your test results, and are thinking of you. Annette, are you feeling better since using the thyroid medication? Nothing much new from my end of the world. I wasn't able to go to my friend's father's funeral yesterday and felt awful about it. I simply felt lousy and could not make the trip. Had sort of a sore throat and neck hurt. That's better today, but my hip/upper leg area on both sides are causing me a great deal of discomfort since yesterday afternoon- upper back as well- I just can't get comfortable. At the same time, one thumb joint is a bit swollen and tender, as is one big toe! I was limping last night.Discouraging. Here I felt pretty good for a couple of weeks....... At least I'm getting the gardens under control, and that's satisfying (even if it does me in!). Summer is so short, I pray everyone is enjoying it, no matter what Bless you all-
Guest guest
Fern, You are so right in what you said. You are a fortunate woman that you understand and acknowledge some of these relationship problems. Your husband is a lucky man. Annette Re: Friday Annette, Oh how I feel for you. I too have had some tough times lately. It really hurts to see people we love hurting, especially when there is only so much we can do. And I think it stirs up emotions in us that are often difficult to deal with because we are trying to take care of our loved ones. I have been so busy taking care of my aunt and I was happy to do it, but then I felt guilty that I had neglected my own family. I also feel that when you loose a loved one that you don't want to miss a minute with the loved ones that are still with you. This current family death evoked many emotions in me and one was that my husband and I have drifted apart recently. It isn't that we aren't friends or that we have trouble raising the children, but our relationship isn't as close as it has always been. We have had our share of problems just like all couples, but this isn't any particular problem. It is that life just keeps getting in the way of our spending the kind of quality time together that we should. When you loose a loved one you suddenly become aware that you may not have forever together. I just had the need to feel close to my husband and be assured that our relationship is solid. I guess these are natural reactions to loosing a family member especially one so young and full of life. Gentle hugs, Fern
