Guest guest
Boy has it been a busy (but fun) last 5 days. I worked overtime on Tuesday and Wednesday until about 9 p.m. Thursday I had to get up earlier than usual so I could get off in time for the rodeo. I didn't get to bed until like 2 a.m. on Thursday after the rodeo and yesterday after I worked until 6:45 and then I had to load all the garage sale stuff I had at my apartment and head to my mom's which is a 30 minute drive. I unloaded and headed to a friends house, about 15 minutes away, to pick up their garage sale stuff. I headed back to mom's house and sorted out all the stuff (we grabbed what we wanted LOL) and set it all up for the next day. We also priced everything and made the signs. My dad just shook his head. He doesn't do garage sales. Got home at 11:30 but couldn't get to sleep until like 2 a.m.! Back up at 5:00 a.m. to load more stuff up and head back to my mom's. Made it at 6:15 and put everything out, including the signs, and 7 hours and $200.00 later (yeah!) we closed shop and took the remaining stuff to a donation center. I saved the good stuff left for another garage sale we will have in the summer. I drove back to my house with more stuff than I left with (what's up with that?) and filled up my storage. Luckily my mother took a shelf I had in my room and that made a lot more space in my bedroom. After that was done what did I do? Came to work! LOL! I've been here for about 2 hours and I'm staying another 2 hours and that's it for tonight. I'M TIRED! LOTS of exercise the last few days so that's good. No gym though. Just didn't have the time nor the energy. Tomorrow...6 more hours of overtime. MONDAY night....back to the gym...I promise. We were both VERY pleased (and a had a great time today) with the amount we made for our garage sale because that is our SRD money! ! ! The more money we make, the more fun we will have. Okay...back to work. Just had to share my week. WHEW! I'm tired all over again telling you about it! Your TOPS Pal, Jr. "I want to be weightless flying through the air.
