Hi there

1 year is not too old at all. Yes, growth does slow down after the

first year, but you still have time for good correction. I'm going

to add 2 people to the subject line that have kids that were banded

at an older age, and received great correction. On is , you can

look at her daughter's folder in before and after Hannah. The other

is / 's son. I'm not sure about the pics of him.

I'm sure they will jump in as soon as they see this post.

Again welcome on board. Let us know how the casting goes.

was banded at 17 1/2 mos. He gets the band off next Tuesday. I

have tried to load the before and after pics but no luck. He got

great correction--much better than I was expecting. I was hoping for

just a little nudge into roundness so he would look normal and maybe

have fewer of the health problems associated with plagio. What he got

was almost complete correction. At one year your daughter has plenty

of time for a DOC Band to work. Good luck!

21 mos, DOC Grad next week!

Definitely not! Please look at my Hannah's pictures under

photos/before and after/DOCband/Hannah B. She saw great correction

even in her third band, which we started at 15 mos!
