weaning medications using SCD

Hi, what is a reasonable time frame after having a flare to asked to be

weaned of medications? I was diagnosed in June and began SCD then and

have been feeling wonderful basically. It seems that the swelling in

my intestine has gone away b/c I can't feel it or see it anymore. I go

back in Sept. for a CT to check it for sure. If I am symptom free and

the swelling is gone is it reasonable of me to ask if we can try to

wean me off medication or is it still too early? I am taking Pentasa

and Entocort. I really want to know if its SCD or the medication that

is helping the most and mostly just want to get off medication unless

it is absolutely necessary. thanks!
