Guest guest
Well I was here 6 months when Hurricane Floyd came through. While we did not get the brunt full force we had very strong wind, very heavy rain, and lots of lightening storms. I came in at 430pm that night and was assigned call taker. From the time I got there till someone finally told me HEY TAKE A BREAK - That was 11:30pm. The phones were non top - it was very busy with everything, floods, washouts, wind damage , lightening damage, ems. It was a very mixed bag. it was a tough day as a young child died and was swept away by flood waters. It was a crazy day but controlled. So we to are watching the storm very closely, with our luck right up the Hudson river valley.
