Guest guest
Hi Jenn, I think most kids do this. Willow did as well. I have heard several members mention the Aveeno oatmeal treatment. They made it into a paste and put in on the little noggin at bathtime. You could try that. I'm not sure how long they left it on. Few minutes maybe. Guest guest
Jenn, Head scratching is very common. When 's band was off he would try to scrape his head up against Daddy's whiskers. Sometimes when he was in the highchair I would take it off and let him scratch his head against the back of it. He loved it. Try the Aveeno stuff if he seems paticularly itchy. Guest guest
Hi Jenn, Yes, twice in the beginning it happened. Once we used a little hydrocortisone cream (0.5% I think but it might've been 1%), fed him dinner, then washed it off in the bath. I went out and bought the Aveeno oatmeal bath and we used it once. It's slippery but it worked! Guest guest
has always scratched his head...even before the band. He constantly has scratches on his poor little head. Since we got the band he doesn't try to scratch the band, but as soon as it comes off he's back to doing it! I don't know if 's scratching is due to the band, but I know has been doing it. Good luck!
