Guest guest
Hi everyone, I haven't posted in forever, I'm sorry. Things have been so busy at work and at home. All good stuff, but busy nonetheless. I just wanted to announce that is graduating on Friday! Woo hoo! 14 weeks - not too bad. I cannot wait to get his head back. I do have one question.. Are there any of you out there who chose not to do the exit cast? Our neurosurgeon told us that there is less than a 1% chance of regression at his age (11 months). My feeling is he's been through enough, he's been a trooper through this whole thing why torture him anymore. Also, his eczema has been acting up something fierce lately and that plaster makes it worse. Opinions, anyone? Guest guest
Mia, It seems just a short time ago was having alot of trouble with his band. So glad he finally got into it! The exit casting is optional for a good reason. Casting is just so awful for most kids and parents they don't push it on you probably for that very reason. We are going to do it just to get the before and after view of his head 3D. It will be far more accurate than the pictures. I can't wait to compare the two headsicles. In fact, both our kids will be graduating the very same day. Congratulations! Guest guest
Yeah I have to admit he really adapted well to the band. I'm so glad, and the improvement is phenomenal. Congrats to you and too! And enjoy the weather there. We're from Northbrook and moved to Phoenix and I miss Illinois! :-) > > Hi everyone, > > > > I haven't posted in forever, I'm sorry. Guest guest
Hi Mia, is graduating already???? WOW just seems like yesterday that he got his band. I know that it's really not a fun moment to cast, but it is worth it. You will be able to see just how much correction has achieved, plus you have evidence when your mind plays tricks on you. I must have thought a 1000x that Willow's head had regressed, and I actually went back to have measurments done. I would give anything if I had done an exit cast. My 2 cents: Do it. Good luck and CONGRATS for Friday Sandy Willow's Mom > Hi everyone, > > I haven't posted in forever, I'm sorry. Things have been so busy at > work and at home. All good stuff, but busy nonetheless.
