Audra- I know this is frustrating... been there! I gained back 4 pounds

too! Your body may just need a little more time to get in the swing and

lose those... IT WILL HAPPEN! Try not to weigh yourself for another

week.. even 4 days... i know this is hard.. im addicted to the scales

myself. Take them out of the bathroom (or where ever they are) and put

them in the basement or somewhere inconvient... or have someone hide

them from you...thats what i did.. hubby hid them and brought them out

onece a week. Keep sticking low carb.. but you better get some carbs

in.. need some...be sure you are eating enough food!!!! If you're not

eating enough your body thinks you're starving and wont let you lose..

Try this.. Hang in there!

Is anyone aware of a site that is for parents of BPD?? I to am new to

this site and have found myself overwhelmed by the " chios " that is

going back and forth. I have an 18 year old dtr with BPD and am

married to a BPD man.

I work a full time, I have 3 kids.... son 20, non-bp.... daughter 18,

bp..... son 11 (diag with Bi-polar)

I am in the process of leaving my husband, can't deal with all of

this anymore.....

I would love to find a group to talk to however, I have no time to

seek one that I can attend face to face. I was hoping this would be

a place for me to get suggestions and advice from people that have

gone through the stage I am in. I am not certain now if this is turly

the place I can get that support.

There are so many things I would like to ask if there is somewhere

out there any of you know I could do that.

Thanks for listening and any suggestions you have on a good support

system.

Ok who is arguing, you know any time you are going to have a bunch of women on a

group, there is going to be some discord...just as there is in real life...get a

bunch of women together for a long period of time, in one room, and surely there

will be an argument...don't ask me to explain I don't know why, it just happens.

Just avoid the posts you don't want to read....no big deal, it is all calm

now....you know my son is 14, and shows no signs of mental illness either...I

guess the BPD traits did not pass on to him...

And no you can't run from your problems...I tried doing that from 17 til my

early 30's...unfortunaely I wasted all those years trying to run and act like

everything was going to be ok....

Hi I feel you and I are in the same boat, my daughter is a non diagnosed BP and

has been diagnosed with Bi-polar post traumatic syndrome. I have a son who is

thirteen and non BP. I left my husband a year ago, moved to a new state and a

new job after working the same one for 23 years. I thought I'd start a new life

but it hasn't been working, you cant run away from your problems. My daughter

is still a huge problem in my life. I'd like to get a correspondence going with

you, perhaps we can help each other. I am not into all this arguing, I feel

pretty excluded from this group for the moment.
