Guest guest
Just a little vent.... We were supposed to get Casey (6 months old, severe to profound sensoneural loss) fitted with his aids yesterday but his first lovely ear infection stopped us. I am so anxious to get on the road and get going with this. I probably have my hopes up a little high - what were the first things you noticed when your child was first aided and how did you know if they were working? I don't know what kind she orderd for us, all I know is that they are programmable (3 programs) and are not the ones they usually start with because we told her cost was no object (we'll manage somehow) and if a more expensive one would be better for us then get it- also- could someone explain the banana(?) and how hearing loss is classified by Hz and dB? Thanks in advance - I love all the information and knowledge this group has! Laurie - WA
