Guest guest
It's been quite a while since I posted here. I pretty much took a year off of heavily researching biomed for a few reasons. I got a job, I was pregnant (exhausted!), and most importantly, my son is doing really well We continue eating really well (gluten free, low sugar, low processed, mostly organic, etc) and supplementing with a few things, but he's doing great. With the new baby, vaccines have been on my mind again lately and I'm learning a lot about them this time around. I've read Dr. Sears' " The Vaccine Book " and my middle child was due for Kindergarten boosters. I skipped them, but had titers tested for him. I have the results, and he's good to go with the exception of Mumps. He was at .9. I'm pretty sure I'm not going to give him the booster. I also had titers tested for my son who is well on his way to recovery. Does a high titer indicate a high liklihood that a kid is viral? And how high? She just said he was >5 for Measels. He's one of those kids who seems to rarely get sick. If not, what are the indicators that a kid would need an antiviral regimen? Thanks, Kari
