Guest guest
OH heavens yes. MY heart does all sort os things when I feel K am low on cortisol. The oddest, (although not the worst) feeling one I get is where the heart feels like it is going flubba-dubba-dub-blurb- blub, and only corticosteroids make this go away. ~Inga > I notice that when I am low cortisol, I will start getting a funny > feeling heart. Guest guest
haha flubba-dubba-dub-blurb-blub do you mean it feels like it's extra heart beats or skipped beats? for me that is a low thyroid symptom. like my heart is trying to catch up. Guest guest
Inga, do you think yours skips beats and is that still low cortisol? I *think* mine is beating fast, because it feels like anxiety, or something. So I feel my pulse, but find that it isn't beating fast at all. It does seem to be skipping a beat here and there, or pausing. Is that low cortisol? I never had this until I started HC. When I feel it at night, it definitely goes away after HC. Early in the morning, the HC doesn't make it go away, until the 2nd dose or so. -Olif
Guest guest
I have weird heart beating too. Mine usually occurs when I get home from work and take a nap. I awaken to find my heart beating very heard, and I feel totally washed out. If I do not take a nap my heart does not do this. It lasts about an hour after I wake up from the nap. I suppose it is possible to be short on cortisol by the end of the day...... ........... -- Re: strange heart feelings Inga, do you think yours skips beats and is that still low cortisol? Guest guest
For me, I have high nighttime cortisol, so it make sense for me to believe that it's a high thyroid symptom. It's only happened since I increased my thyroid meds. But it seems like some foods also trigger the fast beats. BUT, I would think it's also because I don't have enough cortisol and thus, the thyroid meds are circulating in my blood, but not getting in my tissues due to the low cortisol........circular sentence, I know..... " I imagine it gets very confusing with so much going on. Right now I am not on Armour, so it is probably a bit simpler with me. I should be starting Armour soon though! My body temps aren't low any longer. Sometimes my hands and feet are still cold, but not quite as often. Maybe I should get tested again...Oh, except I do have TPO antibodies, so I guess I need Armour either way... -Olif
Guest guest
Probably so, only thing si, Ican not tolerate Armour anymore, LOL I think I need toget on tied release t3, but finding money for that is the challenge...so ...flubba-dubba-dub-blurb-blub. Sometimes I get the skipped beats too...or sort of these half beats. ~Inga > haha > > flubba-dubba-dub-blurb-blub > > do you mean it feels like it's extra heart beats or skipped beats? > for me that is a low thyroid symptom. like my heart is trying to > catch up. > > > SAMMIE > > . > <serv> > >
Guest guest
Olif, I dont get skipepd beat too often. When my heart rate has gotten fast, and then it is trying to slow down, is when I hear the skips. As far as the reast of what you write, I have similiar experiences to ours..... ~Inga > Inga, do you think yours skips beats and is that still low > cortisol? Guest guest
...could be toxicity issues added to this as well. the body naturaly wants to detox at ngiht, and this can also cause rapid heart beat. It is very possibly a combination......at least it is for me. When it is a toxic reaction, taking baking soda in water, activated charcaol and adding a hot shower when this happens in the middle of the night helps me considerabkly. Sometimes I take more H/C too.....depends Liver might not be converting as well, I think.... ~inga > For me, I have high nighttime cortisol, so it make > sense for me to believe that it's a high thyroid > symptom.
