Guest guest
This is my first posting to this list, I cannot believe how may people are members, already I do not feel so alone. Exactly two years ago was my first major bout of hives, I was covered from head to toes, swollen eyes and lips, it was just awful. Eventually it went away, I cannot remember how long it took, two or three weeks I think. I was on Zyrtec and Xanax. I was under a lot stress at the time and that was felt to be the cause. Well yesterday morning I had a severe bout of indigestion, shortly after I felt that familiar prickle on my leg.....yes, tonight I am covered from head to toe again, I went to the doctor this morning, back on Zyrtec, Zantac & Xanax. So far they have not 'kicked in'. Wow am I upset, scared and paranoid. I feel I have no reason this time, I have no stress, all is well in my life, so why me - again? Thanks for listening, any positive advice will be very gratefully accepted.

Guest guest
Hi , and welcome. Could this be an allergic reaction to something? Think carefully about what you have been eating/doing recently, and how about how you have been feeling. Could the indigestion be a sign that you have ingested something that doesn't agree with you? Most of us feel that stress may be a contributing factor, but not the " cause " . Best wishes, Carol New member seeks support > This is my first posting to this list, I cannot believe how may > people are members, already I do not feel so alone. > Exactly two years ago was my first major bout of hives, I was covered > from head to toes, swollen eyes and lips, it was just awful. > Eventually it went away, I cannot remember how long it took, two or > three weeks I think.
