Guest guest
Didn't he say in that article that he uses 3 needles a day? Guest guest
I saw the 3 needles a day mention in the article but he doesn't explain it. It seems to contradict what he says about using only diet to control his symptoms. I believe Montel also takes (or took) medicinal marijuana to control some symptoms. But, no mention of it in the interview. --Mr. Dana F. Guest guest
I was watching the Montel show last week. Well...I watch him quite a lot; but on that particular day I noticed something about him. As you all may be aware, he doesn't stand anymore on his show. He does the show sitting in a chair. Last week they were doing a drawing, and he got up to get the piece of paper who's name of the winner was on it. While he was walking towards the area to get the piece of paper, I noticed that his gate was off. Not just a little either. It appeared to me that he was either in quite a bit of pain, or maybe he's having a relapse. Of course, he made no mention of it. I do believe that he does tend to exaggerate some things in his book. But, I could be wrong. Some of the things that were stated by his Dr.s could have really been said by them. After all...we do know how hard it is to get a neuro. who really knows what they're talking about. Some may say that this is life threatening illness, some may not. I know the neuro who dx'd me said in most probability, by the time I reached my 40th b-day, I'd be in a wheel chair. Well, I have had to use one on occasion, but not permanently...yet. Love and blessings... Val wrote: Medical marijuana is used by a lot of people with severe nerve pain. I don't usually watch Montel but I have seen him talk about the pain he is in. Not too many years ago doctors were still saying MS was painless. LOL For many people it is painless but there just as many who do have pain. It's good that you have a good doc who has explained to you that MS is not a death sentence. MS is different for each of us. n calls MS "Multiple Surprises"!hugs)))Sharon This email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
I watched Montel when he appeared on Ray's show last year. For a cooking segment he stood while preparing the food. Then, at the close of the show he was walking down the aisle through the audience and I could see he was favoring one side. I would think the hot studio lights and cooking tired him out a bit. It's not unusual for people (not just celebrities) to exaggerate things to emphasize a point or to make an incident sound more important than it was. Overall, we have a great spokesman in Montel who can get the word out about MS. --Mr. Dana F. Guest guest
Dana~ I agree with you. Sometimes illnesses like MS are so down played that it does need to be exaggerated a little. After all, MS wouldn't be called an invisable illness if at times it we're just that. More that a few of us know that by experience. Love and blessings...
