When adjusting it up I used 12.5mcg every abotu 4 days till I no longer felt hypo. So to swap over from 3.5 grains Armour, I would start by losing one grain and swapping 25 T3 for it? And then for the next 2.5 grains I should have done what exactly? The same? And how long should i have waited before swapping the second one grain for another 25 mcg. Oh I have made a mess of this Val. www.NOVACounselling.com

Is it unwise to take any more on top of that extra 12.5 I am already taking today? another 12.5? I need to get out of here fast! I read your last email 7 times and I still don't fully understand what it says. thanks. Mo www.NOVACounselling.com
Guest guest
Hi again Val I changed out 1 grain a week Am I understanding this right? We don't say changed out over here so I need to check. Do you mean you swapped one grain for 25 mcg and then a week later you did the same thing again and again until you were no longer taking any Armour at all? then as the T4 left my system and I started feeling hypo from it This is when you stopped all the Armour? Were you taking 6 grains which would equal the six weeks it takes for the Armour to run down? I kept adding in T3 at 12.5mcg every 3-4 days OK, I get this. It takes abotu 6 weeks for all the T4 to leave so you just can't change out an even 25mcg for each grain Did you not say above that you DID change out one grain of Armour for 25 T3? as you WILL go hypo once that T4 is gone later on What does this mean Val? thanks. Guest guest
Hi again Val All it means is that the 25mcg T3 is NOT equal to 1 grain of Armoru but it is a starting point. OK What you start with and you WILL need quite a bit more T3 to even the dose up as the T4 leaves your system. OK You can adjust it up by 12.5MCG daily as hypo as you feel. OK. Check your temps and pulse daily. Yes I do this every day as it is. If your pulse starts going too high, over 90 you probably have enough T3 adn need to wait a few days to feel the dose. OK If your temps start going over 99 BACK it up by 12.5 adn give it 3 days at least to see if thta works. OK. That is seriously helpful Val. Thank you so very much. Guest guest
How do you figure 37.5 micrograms? Isn't the .5 guestimate, unrealistic? As is the 12.5?
