Hi, Sharon:

I hadn't heard about ringing the gong for new year in San Francisco. I'll have to look for that. However, I'm sure they do it for the Lunar New Year coming up in February.

My Ukrainian Christmas party isn't interesting enough for youtube.com. But, I will try to take some pictures and post them. And, I'll try to attend Christmas Eve mass at the Russian Orthodox Church on Jan. 6. That I'll film for youtube. :-)
