Hi Dave

I am Jacquie and my daughter has symptoms similar to yours, except

she actually bruises. If the hives on her legs are really bad they

become bruises after a few days. She also gets blueness on her legs

and feet as well as white feet and toes, really cold skin and blue

toenails. This ahs been happening for a while, her doc ssays it

urticarial vasculitus (don't have a clue if he is right, because I

can't find it any where. Hope this helps a bit, by the way, hers are

also sore, muscular and to touch.

xxx Jacquie

Dave...

I know the bruised felling. My chest muscles and the bones hurt even with the slightest movement. I have been told that taking Aleve and/or Advil can help that inflammation. I do know that it seems to help my bruising problems. I enjoy seeing my blue veins and the little bumps (lymph nodes) that also cause the bruising in other places around the sides of my ribs. I often hear my family snicker as I walk around saying, "Ouch, that hurt" a few more steps, "Oh crap that really hurt." I think they gauge the fact if I am still alive by listening for my "Ow's, Oh's, etc."

Also, A simple remedy might be to soak in warm/hot/cold (your preference) and put Epsom salt in the water. The magnesium in the Epsom Salts can penetrate through your pores and actually help tired, aching, tender body parts.

Bet of luck. My library is getting very full about all the different ailments we all have. I'm still drawn to hormonal, infections, poor nutrients, etc., as the base. Medicines such as Prednisone have so many side affects. I did go to one of my more sympathetic doctors and begged for a shot of Kenelog, along with antibiotics and the hives are only the size of small saucers instead of the bit turkey platter size. I had promised I would never do a type of steroid again...but I either had that or sleep for 100 years or more to avoid this ITCHING! I even said once that if it is a chose between Prednosone for hives or saving my eyes...I chose the eyes overall, but, I am weak and I did go begging once more.

Anyway, maybe that might help. Or you might consider a massage therapist or yoga institute. Sounds like wacky medicine, but I have seem results.

Bye for now.

Hive on...
