Guest guest
Hi I'm glad to hear that is adjusting soo well. He is absolutely adorable. Thank you for sharing the pictures. I LOVE the teddy deco Sandy Willow's Mom Germany > Hello Wise Women! > > You were all correct - I had nothing to worry about (but isn't that what us Mothers do?) I underestimated my little guy. I thought for sure he would be the first baby not to tolerate the band but so far so good! He has a mind of his own and hates hats. > > The first 1/2 hour was rough. He cried very hard when she put it on him for about 10 minutes and I cried too. Ginny must have thought I was nuts. He tried to get the band off but couldn't. Ginny said that usually happens with the older babies so she was a little surprised and boy was I worried. He had missed his morning nap because of the timing of the appointment so I made him a bottle and he drank the whole thing and fell asleep over my shoulder with the band on. He has never fallen asleep like that so I had some hope. > > He has been a perfect angel every since. Cried for his usual five minutes before his afternoon nap and went to sleep. Slept from 8:30 p.m. to 5:30 am this morning. He was doing some moaning in his sleep? He only doesn't like it when I put it back on him or try to adjust it. > > CT & Ginny were great. Ginny trimmed up his ears a little bit and I think the left could maybe use a little more but nothing that can't wait until our next appointment Monday. She also gave me some blue stickers that spelled out his name which I thought was very thoughtful. I will be using them on his next theme - I'm already thinking about the next set of decorations! > > I decorated with a Teddy Bear theme last night - they were rub-on transfers. My husband wanted to know what the hurry was - he said isn't he going to have it for four months (Men!). I really enjoyed the decorating and I think it helped me a little. Thanks for all the sticker responses to my note. > > It's so true that it probably bothers the parents more. is playing & smiling just like always. I've gotten a few mouthfuls of plastic until I adjust how I snuggle him. > > I posted some pictures in the photo album under our Plagio kids/. > > > (Relieved Mommy to , 7 months, DocBand 7/12/04, Chicago)
