Nondiabetics as well as us glucosed impaired Sweet roasted nuts : Low Carb & Sugar free High in omega-6 acids High calorie - be warned. Pound of unsalted nuts - Pecans - walnuts - almonds. Some sugar free maple syrup such as Vermot. 4 carbs per 1/4 cup. Coat the nuts with this and other seasonings or essences that you may like or have. I add some butter pecan essence from pleasantville cookie company. Roast in a slow oven. Around 275 until the syrup is dried out and the nuts are toasty. Store in containers.
