I have a question for all of you. Has anyone taking prednisone noticed any bruising on any part of your body? I have been finding numerous bruises. But only on my legs and feet. God bless you all. NormaJean

Hi NormaJean-

I have recently discontinued the use of prednisone after continual use for 9 months. I now only recieve pred. injections on an 'as needed' basis. I did notice that while on the pred. I had an unusual occurance of bruising. If you read the insert that comes with your prescription it is described that you are more succeptable to injury and that the steroids will hinder wound healing time by a large percentage. This may be the reason for the seemingly many bruises. They are most likely remaining longer that would without the pred. consumption.

I noticed this with open wounds also. Even little scratches from work, shaving, etc.. would take what seemed like forever to heal.

Thanks . I was never given any of the inserts that come with

most medications. Like the name too. I dread it also. NJ {=o)
