Guest guest
I'm glad Treyton is doing so well in his new band! To help prevent the smell use the high concentration alcohol--91% and really scrub it in w/a rough face cloth. You can also use a stronger smelling shampoo on him, like Loreal kids. Guest guest
Hi, To keep the smell from getting too bad I wipe his band down two to three times a day. All it takes is about two minutes of wiping real (I prefer a baby wash cloth)good and letting it air dry for another minute or so. Also, a good tip I've read on here is to let it bake out in the sunshine for a little bit. Fifteen minutes should be enough to kill some yucky germs. I find if you keep up with the periodical cleaning during the day the night wipe down (during bath time)is easier especially if you are in a hurry to get them to bed! Guest guest
Glad to hear Treyton is ajusting well to his new band. Your wrestling comment made me think of a onesie that I ordered for Connor. They have little sayings regarding Plagio/helmets/bands. They also have T-shirts. I got one that says " I'm a Prodigy Midget Wrestler...That's my story and I'm sticking to it! " Here's the link if you want to check it out: http://www.cafeshops.com/capps.8593575 Can't wait to see the pics of his decorated band! Guest guest
Glad to hear that Treyton's fitting went so well. He'll be rounding in no time. You can use 99% rubbing alcohol, if your pharmacy can't get it, you can order it online here: http://www.first-aid-kit-company.com/industrial/isopropyl-alcohol.htm Letting it dry in the sun or under a fan helps too. Keep us posted. -- In Plagiocephaly , " Cristi " <naive_angel@h...> wrote: > Treyton had his first fitting yesterday for his DOCband, and I'm > really pleased. It went well. Guest guest
Cristi, That's great that Treyton's DOCband fitting went so well, and he's not having any issues with it!! I think the " Hulk " theme sounds adorable; would you post a picture of Treyton in his DOCband when you finish the decorating? I'd love to see him in it. You've already received replies with helpful info about cleaning and odor, so I won't bother posting what little I know about band care! Keep us updated on Treyton's progress when you can, Christie (Mom to Repo'd Remy) --- In Plagiocephaly , " Cristi " <naive_angel@h...> wrote: > Treyton had his first fitting yesterday for his DOCband, and I'm > really pleased.
