Well Crista... my twins are 13 months old and they only have their

two bottom teeth... I think we are teething now the upper ones but I

can't really tell for sure. Can you ask if he might be able

to send us some teething vibes??? ... lol

Annie,

I'd be more than happy to send four teeth your way along with the

teething fussiness :)

How is Ignacio doing? I heard a few weeks ago he was able to sit up

on his own. Is he crawling now?

Thank you,

Crista,

My 17 month old has 13 teeth. He started teething at 3 months, got 2

one week and two more the next week, and hasn't stopped yet. His 2

year molars are coming down now and 3 of his eye teeth (canines) are

moving down as well (the first one already broke through.) It is

drool factory at my house!

Mine is 6 months as of the 6th, and 0 teeth, but he's been knawing

and working on the bottom two for 3-4 months! I can see them now,

but not through yet. My dd was the same way. Then, whenever she did

get them, it was always 4 at a time. I would just figure it out and

then teeth would start popping.

Is he very miserable? Maybe it is harder when they come fast and

furiously. My dd was not, but I think ds is having a hard time. He

is such a happy baby, but he will growl and get loud as he knaws on

his cold teething toys, as if it is a real " pleasure and pain " thing,

and he seems very restless this week.

I do think it is entirely normal to have as many as your guy does.

My friend had young teethers, and her 4yo son has lost 2 teeth

already.

My son is 8.5 months old and has nooooo teeth at all. The bottom

ones look like they're starting to come through, and he's been

teething pretty badly for 2 months now, but they just haven't come

yet.

Hi there,

Kody will be 19 months next week. He is working on tooth # 16.

Glad to be almost done! He didn't get his first until about 7 1/2

Its really kind of funny. I was just thinking and worrying today that should have at least one tooth by now! She is almost 8 mths old. You worry about too many and Im worried about none at all. I guess all kids flow at their own rate.

My daughter is 11 mos. and has had all eight for about 1 1/2 mos. I

haven't had time to read all responses, so this may have already

been said - I think it's hereditary - I had my 1st tooth at 3 months

and she got her first at 4 1/2 months. Sydney has two friends that

are the same age and they have 2 and 3 teeth and no signs of more

coming. I'm sure is just fine - it should make transitioning

to solids easier. Take care - - St. Louis (mom to Sydney -

I'm a little behind on posts... but Abigail is 10 months (9

adjusted) and has eight teeth. My nephew, who is just one day

younger than Abby, has six teeth, and has been fussing like he is

working on more. So there ya go. I completely understand the

teething marathon!

Hi Crista... sorry I couldnt reply sooner but my internet provider

has been having problems during the last week or so.

I have to edit my reply... has three bottom teeth... no news

on the upper ones yet. Ignacio remains with two bottoms and no

uppers.

Ignacio has been sitting on his own for two weeks now and has

started to crawl... he has the idea but doesnt know yet how to

coordinate his movements to get crawling. I guess he will get it in

the next weeks. still refuses to sit on his own... and when

he sees his brother sitting he tries to get near him to push him...

Nice brother, heh??? Also, has developed this crawl which I

named " the army crawl " . He refuses to lift his tummy off the

floor... and movements are controlled by the elbows and uses his

right knee to push forward while his left leg remains straight...

but if you're not on top of him he can surprise you with the speed

he can reach this way.

My goal is to have them walking before they turned 18 months old.
