Guest guest
Hi Sherryl, My son's helmet didn't come pre-decorated, but I did use stickers to do his name. I changed the theme often, so I changed the stickers for his name. I dont know about pens/paints to use, but I'm sure others will chime in with that. Can't wait to see the pictures of Zanders band... should look pretty cool with the flag. Guest guest
Hi Sherryl, I think stickers would probably be easiest. There are paint pens, but their durability is questionable. Sometimes they do great other times not so good. Stickers on the other hand can be easily replaced and are relatively cheap. Look for clear backed stickers, like stickoppatomaus (sp??). Try walmart, target, hobby lobby, michaels, scrap booking stores, etc. HTH mom to na DOC grad tort - resolved > I'm just wondering what you all use to write your babies names on > their helmets? Guest guest
We use clear-backed letter stickers mostly, although I have used regular ones also. Guest guest
Oooh! I am so pleased to find a new scrapbooking website! Just adding(cannot find original post to reply) that Colin has a mix of Me and My Big Ideas papaer and plastic stickers on his helmet. I think it looks great. It is the safari minis and matching borders. You can see it under Colin W. The clear come of easier, but they also come off easier, LOL. I have only had to replace the clear border ones. There is one paper one that peeled a bit, but not noticable enough to re-do the whole thing, and I cannot find another pattern I like as much. I found both looked great, but our helmet is white, so the paper ones went on well. Would not be as great on a color. Hoping to be out of it for the Cape vacation last week of the month!! Will do fish if not(going to try some rub-ons I have around. I will post how they work). So, if you see a 6 month old cutie with a fishy helmet on the beach, that would be Colin. mish > > I'm just wondering what you all use to write your babies names on > > their helmets?
