Hi Kim,

I think my son would love to be a pen pal. is 7, in first

grade, loves Star Wars, anything with lots of action. He does not know any other

HI children. He loves to write and get mail also :-) . We live in Connecticut.

Right now is home sick because he ended up with a perforated ear drum

and is now having an allergic reaction to the meds they gave him :( Not a good

way to start off the year! Take care,

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone had a child who would be

interested in being pen pals. My son Dylan would be

interested in communicating with other Hearing

impaired children. At first I was thinking e-mail but

the more I think of it, snail mail would probably be a

blast. Helps with writing skills and he loves to get

mail. He is currently in the third grade. Play piano,

loves sports, music and more. Let me know if anyone

would be interested.

Thanks!

Kim,

Hello, I'm relatively new, but my son, Cody is also in the 3rd grade. I

think he would love to do the pen-pal thing. He loves getting mail also. He

enjoys sports, is trying to learn the trumpet, everything science related and

dealing with his 5 1/2 yr.old sister! Let me know if this is ok and we can

exchange addresses.

I'll volunteer to work with Moms and Dads be a 'matchmaker' for our kids, or

to set up an email loop. My eight year old hasn't really expressed a lot of

interest, but I'm sure it could be cultivated <weg--and they ask what I use

my Psych degree for!>

If this would be okay, folks could contact me offlist.

My son is 8, in Grade three and excels in reading and math, but is okay in

spelling. He loves super-heroes like X-Men, Spiderman, Ninja Turtles, etc.

His new kick is playing on Super Nintendo. If all goes well, he'll

have his own @... address sometime tomorrow (if I can remember

how to set it up)

Hi there would love a pen pal. He is however only in grade one...do you

think that would be too much of an age gap? He also is just learning to play

the piano

( santa brought us one for christams, I say us because I had nothing to do with

it except mentioning how I wished I could afford one. Friends got together sold

raffle

tickets and bought and shipped it to our door....oh ya a few tears shed that

day!)

Any way let me know what you think?

We could try. I think they would appreciate it too. If

they get bored they could quit. Besides he has a 1st

grade brother who could also put in his 2 cents!

Email me offline with your address.

I just received another response from a first grader.

They might be better matched. I'll see if I can find

it. But I'm sure Dyaln would love it too. PLus he has

a first grade brother that drives him crazy. Let me

Maybe and would have more in common.

(See the letters below)But I would love the have them

write to Dylan if it won't be too much for them to

have more than one pen pal.
