Guest guest
Hi again It might be a good idea if you let your ped / pt evaluate her again. Tort " can " but doesn't have to affect more areas than just the neck and head. Willow is still in pt and her torticollis is officially resolved now. ) She was diagnosed at 2months and we started pt with a bad pt at 4 months and then found our pt now when she was 5months old. (she will be 11months on the 2nd) He is great and does cranio sacral therapy as well. I'm not sure if it is working, but it can't harm is my motto. They say that CST can really influence the head shape still and ear allignment so we are trying it. Plus tort kids should be monitored until they walk well for reasons of the muscle tightening again with bigger milestones. We were lucky. Willow did not start tilting again with teething or crawling. Good luck and keep me up on how is doing. Does she have a ROM issue / tilting / just favoring one side?
