Good Morning!

Welcome to you all (and all others i haven't

mentioned....sorry.....trying to go thru posts).....

sometimes posts don't appear right away b/c they're reviewed at

first (i think).....

you are all in the right place for lots of encouragement and plenty

of support....

alise, i also live in chicago area and have around (gulp) 100+

pounds to lose....but i'm in west suburbs (near oak park)....and due

to recent diagnosis of serious illness of husband (cancer), not sure

i can commit right now to being workout partner....but maybe we can

figure out some other way to support each other....i've been in ww

since beginning of nov....have lost 16.6 pounds....my first 'mini'

goal is to lose 10% of me (29 pounds)by valentine's day.....might

not get totally there...but hopefully will be very close....

i have tried to cut out all fast food....it's so bad for us on SO

many levels....drink more water....cut out the wine and beer (bring

it to a bare minimum), walk a LOT, and watch portion sizes.....all

very doable things for a lifestyle change......i still go out for

dinners, etc....just am more careful about what i indulge in....try

to plan for those dinners out (cutting back during day, etc...)

hope this helps you all!! this is a fun, uplifting, supportive

place....i know you will all get along just fine!!
