Sue,

I know what you mean. Lately when I hear of a doc that totally

thinks helmets are a crock totally blows me away. They either don't

have a clue or they don't know enough info about it to make a good

assessment. Do they really think us Moms (and Dads) want their kids

to wear a freakin helmet for four months just for the fun of it?

To members: Next time your ped/dr pooh poohs cranial orthotics ask

them WHY cause we really want to know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, at least Sue and I want to know :)

Hi Sue,

Like you, I have been baffled by this as well and have come up with

my own theory's. I do know that docs get incentives to NOT write a

lot of Rx's, so I think they may get incentives for not writing Rx's

for helmets. Just my thought.... I know I may be neurotic.

Hi Sue,

It is indeed frustrating, especially when you see the amazing

changes before your eyes that happen when your baby is banded.

Plus, you look at the older kids' untreated plagio pics and it's

really a sad thing. Hopefully time will change it, but who knows.

Maybe once all these old school docs retire!
