It sounds about like a small (7-9 " ) fan. My two are sitting right

behind Harry's chair in the dining room and we have no trouble having a

dinner conversation while they're operating.

However, I will recommend that if you are drying onions and garlic, you

point them out the window if you can. Either that, or add some tomato and

green pepper and mushroom slices, and a tray of pepperoni sticks so that

the apartment smells like a pizza!
