Hi i am from the U.k, England, Coventry. I am a big fan of Marcia on here. I will be coming over to the U.S soon. My son is 5 and diagnosed autistic when he was 3.5 yrs. He hasn't spoke since he was 4 and had the chicken pox but before this he had a few words. I have had OAT and Comprehensive stool analysis done at great Plains lab and i'v seen a DAN DR over here but he can't prescribe as he is not a medical Dr so not much good to me really. Mat has just had an MRI brain scan under GA at Birmingham childrens Hospital and has had metabolic blood tests and organic acid tests done there also beginning of August. They will be pulling everything together in a meeting in mid Sept and then getting me in to discuss the results end of Sept. He is not typically autistic. We just got the results back probably 6 weeks ago. We haven't really followed much of it. The only thing I have done is go out and buy pyncegenol (sp??) and grape seed extract tablets. Oh and I bought some vit K.I haven't tried those with them due to the phenol issues.I asked my DAN about Respen-A since my kids and I are MAO-A affected. But he doesn't like the idea of it depleting calcium. I want to find a doctor who will prescribe it to me so I can see if it works.Last week I started using L-theanine routinely. I have been seeing my kids be able to focus better and tantrum less with these, but I've also been making sure they get enzymes with these.Some time this week I hope to make the enzyme "candy" we were discussing in the other topic... I have many of their problems, so my ADD is coming under control here too LOLAnyway, I just

want some consistency for a little bit before I add something... we'll see when I get brave enough to try the grape seed.

thanks for sharing your son's results! This is quite a long list of recomended supplements. Even though some of them are quite familiar, like probiotics and others, but some are not so known. Are you going to give your child all of them? What the expected effect of each of them, is there any explanation about them?
