My son never had strep issues in his life. Within 2 months of starting threelac his alpha and beta strep in his stool went to 4+, he got strep throat and is now a PANDAS kid. Coincidence or not, you decide.

I've been reading posts regarding issues with three lac and strep after using it. I just received my order of three lac in the mail yesterday and am now reluctant to start it. My son does not tolerate probiotics very well so I thought we would try three lac. However, I do not want to create problems. His last stool test showed srep as +1. I looked back on his stool test from two years ago and he was +3 at that time. So obviously they have gone down over time. Anyone who had strep issues with their child... was that over a prolonged period of time? I was thinking of just trying it for a couple of weeks and seeing what kind of benefits we get from it. Any ideas/thoughts are greatly appreciated!thanks, beth

Just to give you my experience.I tried three lac with my son, and 10 minutes

after the first half dose, he became very echolalic and acting like he was

drunk, I tried next day with the same results, so I decided to stop, I don't

know if it was the casein in it, or lemon flower or the streps, or the three.

but definitely it cause the adverse effects and it was not dye off.

The probiotics we us now are Klaire Labs Therbiotic Detoxification Support Formula and Klaire Labs Factor 4. Both are free of strep strains

I was a hard one to convince--I stopped giving them and threw away---$150.00 worth---I was taking them--thinking I would not waste them if my daughter could not take and I got a sore throat and my daughter got strep and was just on azritho for 5 days--so I threw all strep strain away-----

this product would boost strep levels, has milk as well, I wouldn't advise it......especially if you have stool markers showing past issues

A few years ago we discovered threelac (when we were first starting out w/biomed). It was our first probiotic that we tried and it was not good. I wasn't on a message board at the time, so I didn't know. I wish I would have.. anywho..We now use Klaire detox support and have been really happy with it. We use 2 caps, in the evening, before bed.HTH,From: Christel King
