Guest guest
It just occurred to me that when I had Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (One can get over the pain and the symptoms, but the damage to the involved limbs is usually permanent. Great excuse for my horrid typing as it affected both shoulders, both arms and both hands), Edna's husband drove me, for over six years, to Stanford Medical Center, 49 miles, yet, in my old Buick, aka Buck the Buick (before my current car, Marco Polo), three times a week for physical therapy and before that to California Pacific Medical Center for nerve blocks. I had to work pretty hard to keep Elwood from exiting every time he saw an arrow or a sign, but he was heroic and hilarious. He could recite and compose poetry in his head. Yes, my in surance did pay him, and I always paid for coffee breaks, lunch, etc., but we managed to enjoy our time together. Nothing like the friends of choice, be they relatives or people whom we have met outside the biological family. More love to each of you, from more n
