Guest guest
I don't know Greg, I had toyed with the idea, but not sure. I did have to laugh where the one workshop captioned, and the only captioned one at that time, is on hearing aids; now we who are deaf from NF2 would be the ones needing captioning, and we sure can't use hearing aids!! Marie ANA notes Will anyone be going to the ANA Symposium this year in St. Louis? It appears that some of the workshops there will be very interesting and some are NF2 related. There will be a session on Gene defects in NF2, by Dr. Choo, which will give insight on possible treatments using gene therapy. Another interesting session will be on, New Research Findings, given by Dr. Martuza. Also Dr. Brackman will lead a panel in discussing, Treatment Options including Recurrence. Those are just a few of the highlights--

Guest guest
Greg, I checked out the website of ANA and it seems like the conference would be very informative, especially if, like me, you've never been to one. I am going to make an effort to go there but it mentioned that it is in Cincinnati, Ohio. You mentioned St. Louis was where it was to be. Are we talking about the same conference? or is there another one? Diane
Guest guest
We're talking about the same conference, Diane. I have no idea why I said St. Louis and not Cinnci. There's another conference I'm considering on attending and that's with International Lutherans Deaf Association and that is probably in St. Louis and I got the two mixed up! I apologize for the confusion. Greg Greg, I checked out the website of ANA and it seems like the conference would be very informative, especially if, like me, you've never been to one.
