Guest guest
Ben did fine last night - slept in the Starband, and wore it all day today. At bedtime, though, he was overtired and couldn't get comfortable. The poor kid was screaming like someone was killing him. I know he was exhausted, because he started daycare today, and didn't nap well at all. I didn't know what to do - I tried giving him some Tylenol in case something hurt him, and tried rocking him, singing to him, and feeding him again. Finally, the only thing that stopped the screaming was to take the band off. He was asleep 2 minutes later. Now I feel like a horrible mom for giving in, but the poor thing was screaming so loud I didn't have the heart to leave it on tonight. I'm going to try to wake him and put it back on, though, and hopefully he'll be so groggy he'll go right back to sleep.

Guest guest
, That's totally fine that you took it off. I hope he does better tonight. Your little man has alot of adjustments to go thru but i'll bet he will adapt fine. How do you like your daycare? We really like ours. They have been great w/the band, no problems whatsoever. Did you decorate it yet? Keep us posted. Sue Colin F. 11 mos. Guest guest
, Don't feel too bad. It was probably just too many new things all at once. However, don't make a habit of it becasue the 23 hour/day wear is what makes them work. Did you wake him back up? I've heard some say they can actually get it back on without waking them - not my child - but maybe yours How's day 2 going? mom to na DOC Grad M <jlmaxian@...> wrote: Ben did fine last night - slept in the Starband, and wore it all day today. Guest guest
Tami, Wow! Either it's a compeltely diff angle (which I doubt) or she is improving wow!!! Did they do some adjustments between pic helmet2 and helmet3. It looks like it's sitting better on her forehead - i.e. not blocking her view. mom to na DOC GradTami <stressed_out_2day@...> wrote: McKenna has only been in her STARband for exactly one week. She had a rough couple of night, especially with the high humidity we had. I also gave in one night when she woke screaming from being overheated. The niext night she did fine and has been fine since. She's doing awesome with it. As a matter of fact, I'm going to post a before picture and a picture from tonight. I'm completely amazed at the difference in just one week! Her picures are under "McKenna" if you want to take a look. Seeing the difference already was SO encouraging to me.Good luckTami> > Ben did fine last night - slept in the Starband, and wore it all > day > > today. > > > > At bedtime, though, he was overtired and couldn't get comfortable. > > The poor kid was screaming like someone was killing him.
