After going to the doctor with an enlarged lymph node, I had a chest

xray, blood tests, biopsy of the lymph node and a CT scan. The CT scan

and biopsy confirmed my thyca diagnosis.

No CT for me, either. Like Barb, I had a FNA that showed pap. thyca, so the

TT was scheduled without further tests or scans.

Hi,

I had a partial CT in Sept of 2001, cause I was

complaining of trouble swallowing....showed NOTHING.

Diagnosed after FNA by ear, nose throat surgeon in Feb.

with Pap /Follicular/Hurtle/Chronic Lymphocitis/ 2 Lymph nodes

positive. I don't know why but it didn't help me at all with

diagnosis.

Hey Gang

I started with a ct scan of my belly that said I was fine except for a

hernia.

5 sonograms proved otherwise for my neck. lol

No scan here either. I did have two ultra sounds, one was just itself, the

other with FNA. The FNA was " suspicious " .

Hi, I had an ultra sound done then a cat scan two months prior to surgery.

They tried to do a biopsy but the nodule was too hard so I had surgery and found

out it was cancer. Janice jangabby@yahoo
