I would be concerned that it isn't fitting propersly if it is making your baby so upset. It shouldn't make him cry like that. Some babies have extra trouble adjusting to sleeping in it, but usually during the awake hours at least babies do fine. Have you browsed our photo area? Does the band look like it's fitting like it should? Does he have red spots that aren't fading w/in an hour? Please let us know what the ortho sais when you go today. What kind of helmet is it? Does your baby calm when you take it off? Have you felt around to see if there are any rough areas inside of it? Maybe too much alcohol for the cleaning? Other than that it might be a bad fit. How did your son's appointment go with the orthotist this afternoon? Did you confirm that the helmet fit is okay, with no red spots happening that don't fade within an hour? Guest guest Posted May 12, 2004 Report Share Posted May 12, 2004 Sorry it took so long to respond-- I'm actually posting for a friend whose son was banded Friday last week, and couldn't get her computer to let her into the list. My son had WONDERFUL results with a Starband about 3 years ago, so I knew about this list from my adventures.
