My daugher is 7 months and has been banded for 1 month. I think I see

some change. When did you start to notice changes in shape?

Willow my daughter was banded at 6months and she must have went

through a growthspurt right away b/c we noticed changes after 5days

already with a big fat redspot. Good luck

Hi,

My daughter wasn't banded, but I'm sure you'll get a lot of replies

from parents of banded babies on this one! I have read where

progress has varied depending on whether or not the baby has a

growth spurt, the age of the baby when they started treatment, and

the type of band (active or passive) might make a difference, too.

Your daughter was 6 months old when she was banded, right? That's

pretty young, so hopefully she will have a growth spurt very soon

and facilitate some dramatic rounding. What changes do you think

you're seeing already? Some parents have noticed some change in as

little as a week, while others took much longer before any

noticeable correction took place.

You absolutely could be seeing change! Check out the progress my

Hannah had in her first 3 weeks banded in the Hannah B album--it was

amazing! She was only 4.5 mos old though. Even in this third band

at 15 mos old we noticed some change in the first month.

My son has only been banded for 1 week and already I see changes, but

as was said earlier, he is going through a growth spurt. I am taking

a picture each week to document it and I'm impressed.
