, THAT IS CROCK POT!! Bull-lognia!! When my daughter rec'd

an ill fitting STARBand, they recasted her and sent ANOTHER ill

fitting STARBand and that is when I gave up and went with an

experienced company to treat plagio!

THAT IS A FREAKING RUN AROUND IF I EVER SAW ONE! , seriously

if I were you, I would walk away, call my insurance company advise

them of what is going on, tell them services were not rendered and

to please refuse payment. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Dustie is right on the money!!! Please take her advice. This is just

crazy! I was so upset last night about all you're going through I

couldn't sleep.

I am begging you to PLEASE look into another treatment center. Your

ortho is clueless! There is no way possible this ortho has any

experience treating plagio babies. You're wasting precious correction

time. Let's just say they do rescan and send another band, it won't

make any difference b/c this ortho doens't know he/she is doing!

Hello ,

My heart goes out to you, and . I get sad just thinking about

all the stuff you are going through. I agree 100% with Dustie, and

in that you should go somewhere else. The ortho you are

currently using obviously does not know what he/she is doing. On

top of that is too full of himself/herself to admit that they messed

up. You are a great Mommy for doing all this, and hanging in there

for . I wish there was more I could do for you.

Hi ,

{{HUGS}} how frustrating. You are very strong to keep pushing this. I agree you need to go somewhere else. It's reached a point where even if this was a mistake and the ortho has some knowledge you won't be able to work together. His "bedside" manner has been somewhat standoffish. I really hate that the STARband is not working for you. We have had babies with them that have received excellent treatment. I saw where posted there is a Hanger facility near you. I'm not sure if they use the Hanger cranial device or the STARband. Of course CT is in Conn - kind of far especially with traffic. We had one family that traveled from Maine - oh my.

I really do feel so sorry that this process has been so difficult. I do still believe would benefit from cranial remoulding. She is still very young so while you have lost time you have not lost too much (if that is any consulation).

To move on to a different treatment facility I believe you could ask for your RX back (not sure) and request a full refund. Otherwise call your referring dr and ask for a "copy" of the RX and explain that you were not satisfied with the care you were receiving and will be going to a different facility. Definitely let insurance know that you are stopping treatment at that facility and seeking it elsewhere.

Please feel free to email me off board if you need help with insurance or anything else.
