Guest guest
, I wonder about it to also as to why the mainstream medical community doesn't openly discuss it even if they know. I think the possibility of link to vaccination in an immune dysfunction is probably one reasons that keep even well meaning doctors to keep away from this (at the expense of the children who should be getting the right care). The establishment is very harsh on physicians who try to link these things so I think folks just don't want to go there. I think the angle I have heard recently is that a genetic predisposition to immune dysfunction exacerbated by toxic environment as evidenced in the Senate testimony last week. Did you read about this hearing last week?http://epw.senate.gov/public/index.cfm?FuseAction=Hearings.Hearing & Hearing_ID=1ab3cf42-802a-23ad-4a3a-686da83bf6d0(video also available at http://www.c-spanvideo.org/program/294878-1From: To: mb12 valtrex Sent: Sat, August 7, 2010 10:34:33 AMSubject: Re: Is it true that herpes viruses can hide from the immune system? Guest guest
Is it suggested that even if a child doesn't show high on HHV6 testing they could still be immune compromised? My son isn't always sick or suffering from infections, he seems to have a "typical" amount of colds etc. However, he has warts on his feet and for the past 2 years has gotten herpes like leisions break out randomly on his body (maybe 2 or 3 at one given time). We tried Valtrex and nothing. I've always wondered if the herpes virus I carry couldn't have been passed to him and it's an underlying condition that even my DAN doesn't seem to concerned about. Guest guest
Yes, many find that although they come up negative in titers, once they start an antiviral, within a few months, the titers show up. That's why it's best to give at least a 6 month trial, although I know of at least one person that had the titers show up after 9 months. If the Valtrex did nothing, then there are still 2 more antivirals to try. And you need to be monitoring titers throughout. Just because you aren't seeing something on the outside, doesn't mean it's not doing something on the inside. Guest guest
There are several antivirals to try.....if you rememeber which vaccine your child did not do well start with an antiviral that willl target that virus OR start with IMunovir which targets many viruses and modulates the immune system. Antivirals to try Imunovir Olive leaf extract Valtrex ( valacylolovir) acylolovir famvir Virastop Amantadine Low dose naltrexone Give each one a few months trial and you can use more than one at once. Look for new behaviors, improvements, rashes and any changes. susan Is it suggested that even if a child doesn't show high on HHV6 testing they could still be immune compromised? Guest guest
Valtrex often causes a healing regression. You should google TACA NOW and STAN KURTZ VALTREX. His paper explains the healing regression. You can switch to another anti viral or try to ride out the regression phase. My 13 yr old son was on valtrex and after a month broke out ith rashes and cold sores. He then became very aggressive toward us and seemed miserable. We rode it out for about 4 months and aggression was better but still a problem. I decided to try Imunovir which is an anti viral and immune modulator. He is doing very well on that. His behavior is much better and he is improving but we are seeing no rashes. I plan to add valtrex back in after being on the Imunovir for 6 months and see what happens. You can also try acyclovir, amantadine, olive leaf extract, virastop and famvir. Is it suggested that even if a child doesn't show high on HHV6 testing they could still be immune compromised?
