Has anyone heard why a diabetic shouldn't get a tattoo? I got one about 3 years

ago (pre-diagnosis) and might want a second. I can't imagine the problem.

cool - what do you have so far?

Mine is a purple peace sign with some white and yellow flowers kind of

around/behind it on my lower back. I want a second just haven't been able to

decide what I want.

Diabetics are noted for poor and slow healing which can affect the

final outcome of the actual tattoo and the area you got it. This of

course depends on where you get it and if it's an oxygen rich area.

But I would check with your doctor first and then find a very

reputable tattooist.

Did it ever occur to you that the only reason they weren't necessary is because

you have/like them ?

I still hate them. And I'm out of here you superficial bunch of ink lovers.

Re: Tattoos

I totally agree that those comments were not necessary. I hope now we can

move on to more important issues, like does the heat affect your bgs?
