Thank you for blood test info

I'm so sorry I don't remember who posted it to the list but I want to

publicly thank the person who mentioned asking the doctor for " Elma " cream

before a blood draw. had his blood drawn for a genetic test last week

and I asked for this cream, which they hadn't offered but were happy to

supply. They applied it to ' arms about an hour before we went down to

the lab. Well, the test I'd been dreading was an absolute piece of cake!

had the needle in his arm for about 3 minutes while they drew three

vials of blood and, except for glancing over once in curiousity, he never

even noticed! He just sat in my lap while we talked about his new beanie

baby. I will be requesting this for any needle sticks and vaccinations from

now on...for both of my kids.
