Brachy & Helmet/band question

Does anybody know why exactly the band only rounds out the back

rather than the wide part of the skull in brachy babies? I was really

hoping to correct 's wideness that came with his flat head,

but it sounds like that won't be happening much if at all. I kind of

think the points (as I call them)on each side of his head that stick

out are actually more noticable then his flatness. The head height is

less noticable now thanks to catching it early and repo'ing, but I

never really saw much change in width.
