Guest guest
Hello all! Thanks for all the info about helmets fixing the ear problem. I think every kid is different and from the sounds of it, the helmet will probably help the alignment a lot. I hope that other members who kids will have the Hanger helmet will find that site helpful (friddles.com). I know I wanted to see the patterns in advance so I wouldn't have to make such an important decision on the spot. I've addes a few pictures of Tommy getting scanned for his helmet. Thought it might help new members who are anxious about the process. It only took 5 minutes and was really no big deal. The pictures are under the folder. -Laurie
Guest guest
Hi, Here is the link I added to our group site under the links/decorating tips folder. Hopefully this link will take you to the direct page on the website that gives some examples of the transfer paper patterns: Friddle's Colouring Paper Patterns for the Hanger Cranial Band Will your baby be getting a Hanger Cranial Band? Here is a link to transfer paper patterns that may be available for order for the Hanger Cranial Band, such as " Planets, " " Butterfly, " " Fly and Drive, " and " Sunflowers. " Check with your Hanger orthotist to see if you can order your band in these patterns. http://www.friddles.com/paper_transfers_coloring_paper.html Take care, Christie (Mom to Repo'd Remy) > Where on Friddles.com can you see the difference types of patterns for the > helmet? Guest guest
Laurie, Thanks for sharing the pics...That process looks much easier than casting! Do they do a scan at follow up appts to show you the progress? That would be great if they did! Guest guest
Thanks for posting the pictures Laurie. The one of him wearing the sock and cape is a riot. Looks like a Halloween costume gone wrong, lol. He took it all in stride though . , mom to Hannah, DOCgrad 7/29 Cape Cod, Ma > Hello all! > Thanks for all the info about helmets fixing the ear problem.
