Guest guest
I have a similar problem too. My sex drive has disappeared and I never knew why,. Last week when I was diagnosed with diabetes I figured that must be the reason... being tired all the time.. no energy... just feeling poorly. My husband has been understanding but he doesn't want to make love unless I want to. I will make love for him but he doesn't want it that way. He only wants it if I want it and I can't fool him. It's very frustrating. So our sex life has been next to nothing for a long time. I'm hoping that now I'm on a new program and eating healthy, losing weight and exercising that my desire will return. I welcome comments and opinions and if you want to write me off the list, that's great too. Thanks! Females and sex I realize this a sensitive area but I need help and/or suggestions. We have men that write in about impotence and diabetes, but I can't seem to find any information dealing with the ladies. I am 51 have diabetes with neuropathy. I never had any inhibitions about sex. I enjoyed it loved to make love with my husband always had an orgasim/orgasims. Now health problems set in. I have NO drive, no desire. I have tried various things....vibrator...even with it I have no sensitivitive, in that area. my husband has been so understanding. He says I love you and he understands. He is so sweet about it. He is 59, men give me some advise. Can he really be happy and content on love? I mean I have taken to faking it, but he knows. I try other things to release him. Ladies do any of you have these problems.
Guest guest
My thought on this is it could be menopause causing you to not be interested in sex, rather than diabetes. Perhaps a trip to the doctor is in order and get your hormone levels checked. I have t2 diabetes and dont have that problem altho I am a little younger than you.
