Guest guest
Good Morning! Ev, I don't think I realized you had " popped " your knee. You behave yourself now and take extra care. Glad the clot dissolved. Fern, you have been " dragged through a knothole " - one of my favorite expressions when trying to say how I feel at times. I'm so sorry you've had these " friend " experiences- like you need that on top of everything else. I myself sure haven't had anyone I know, including family, say to me- " What can I do to help? I'll come down and do (whatever.) Of course, most of the time others don't really know for sure how I'm faring, as with some of them, I'll simply say things are fine or OK, because I'm sensitive now to how people might perceive complaining--- I've had comments that I just need to just get going, ignore it, whatever- not dwell, you know the drill. I am thankful I have some days that I basically feel OK- but that old fatigue always pops up. Yesterday and last night I hurt so bad all over- I took a Vioxx, which helped a little but not as much as I'd hoped for. The pain and dwelling on our current(and I hope short term) financial situation got me so down I ATE COOKIES and a whole bunch of peanuts while zoning out in front of the TV. A fine prescription.... Connie, I would love a list of any doctors anywhere near me that use the AP and are aware. Mid-Hudson Valley area of NY State- I am thinking there might be someone in Dutchess County, NY? Maybe? The closer the better, but I do want to look. It would be great if we could get a scientist or doctor involved in antibiotics/mycoplasmas, etc. to try to answer some of our questions in layman's terms, wouldn't it? You are doing a fine job, Connie. We have to remember that the steroids and immunosuppressants treat the symptoms of our diseases, but they don't treat the cause. The cause is obviously different for individuals, thus I'm willing to try to find a cause that can be treated, and that's what the antibiotics can do for at least a number of us. Fern, I even read (I think in that Lyme disease article from Alternative Medicine mag) that some doctors are now thinking too that some of these bugs, Lyme bacteria among them, are the cause of fibro in some patients. There are more than one tick-borne bacteria that cause we humans problems, and these are new research findings. Oops- I think I read this on a Lyme diseae link, not in the mag. Sorry for the length, folks. I'm having trouble again here on the list- getting more AOL faults which kicks me off- line. Love
