Guest guest
Oh Cammie, I was thrilled to read your post. Welcome, welcome to the other side. Rest well, dear lady, you have earned it. I hope all continues smoothly. So glad your surgeon is happy. I love the part about no bands because you'll strain to talk against them...what? Our Cammie...a talkative one? You are already on the healing path, Lexi

We've been worried sick about you. Rest well and I'll ask the surgery fairy to provide sweet dreams and no bands. Cheryl
Guest guest
Wow Cammie! That's brilliant! I'm amazed you can even be bothered to use your computer at the moment never mind speak so positively! You're an inspiration! Sounds like they did a good job, here's to a smoothe recovery. I'm completely amazed that you're the same Cammie as ever, not feeling sorry for yourself one little bit. Hope I can be like you when my time comes! Doubt it though! So happy for you, Carol x
Guest guest
Congrats on what sounds like a totally successful procedure, Cammie. I actually just checked back in today after my very first post on Friday and I was thilled to read your response. I've spent the last couple of hours checking out all the posts since then (this is a very chatty..er...prolific group - perfect for me). It's easy to see that you provide everyone here with immense support and caring, and that everyone returns the feeling. I'd just like to add my best wishes for a speedy, comfortable recovery. I'm going to model my experience after yours, 'cause it seems to be going so well. Get well soon. I'll be thinking of you. > Thank goodness you're ok, Cammie, well better than just ok! > > I'm especially glad for the no pain no numbness part! Hallelujah! > We've been worried sick about you. Guest guest
Welcome back Cammie! Glad to hear everything went just perfect. You've already passed the top of the mountain, the most tedious part, now the rest is downhill ;-) Happy healing! *Laen*
Guest guest
Hi Cammie! Not sure when you'll log in next, but I have to tell you I was so glad to see your " ceast " name pop up tonight! I'm so very proud of you, Cammie! I really missed you. You realize when one of us is gone for more than a day or so. You sound great and it looks like you are indeed having the easiest recovery ever (as you predicted). I can't wait to hear all the details, but I want you to rest comfortably and we can wait. I am glad that you are home where you can be comfortable. Enjoy the Other Side, Cammie. Not all days will be easy I suppose, but you're there, honey! Wait for me .... Guest guest
Hey Cammie: Welcome to the other side. The grass may not always be so green but it beats looking at it from a distance. It feels good to get that first " other side post " in, doesn't it? Rest & take it easy. Keep your strength up. Guest guest
Cammie, soooo happy to hear from you. I knew you could do it. It is great that you have made it to The Other Side. You take care of yourself. I can't believe you have no numbness. Sounds like your surgeon did a good job, and it's always nice to hear from them that they are pleased with the results. Keep on healing. Donna > You were all with me for the past two days more than you can no.
