Hi ,

That's great info. to hear from a neurosurgeon. My pediatrician

says the same but the Cranial Tech people say that after age two the

head grows by the laying down of bone, rather than brain growth,

which means the head will grow larger but in the SAME shape. It is

brain growth in the beginning that shapes the head.

I was hoping there was some truth to my peds opinion but was

doubtful because he wasn't that good about plagio advice in general

(like so many peds it seems).

I wonder if your neurosurgeon agress with Cranial Tech about HOW the

head grows (after age two) but he still thinks improvement can

occur? What do you think?

I guess it all varies from child to child also. Interesting.

Thanks a lot for passing on this info. Let me know if you hear

anymore on this, Janice.
