Instruction for Atarax are to take one to two twice daily. 25mgs each. I started with taking only one AM and one PM because I had to go to work on it. I now take one or two when I first get to work and sometimes one before bed but have noticed that I don't need much more than that. OR am just still scared that I'll never wake up if I do. LOL I'm a VERY hard sleeper as it is!
